I went to this bistro or restaurant on a late weekday afternoon. It is a very bright dining room, which is simple, so not typically Chinese, but functional. Due to the arrangement of the tables, the necessary distance between the guests is given in these Corona times. An example of other restaurants is that they are asked for personal details immediately upon admission - the operator is so diligent that she even personally enters the end time of the stay on her records for each guest when he leaves the restaurant. At the counter there is a disinfectant that is accessible to all, the waitress always wears mouth and nose protection correctly. Absolutely exemplary. I went to the restaurant mainly because it also offers classic Vietnamese dishes and I chose (42) crispy duck with red curry and coconut milk on vegetables. At my special request, the dish was prepared extra spicy and it turned out very well. I also had 0.3 l Gilde on tap for € 2.00, an absolutely fair price, as well as € 7.50 for the duck. The dish was freshly prepared, the different portions harmonized well with each other. There was enough rice available, the sauce was tasty and in sufficient quantities, only the amount of vegetables could have been a little bigger. As promised, the duck was crispy, but unfortunately sometimes a bit tough or stringy, but not at all fatty. There is a star deduction for this, but I will e.g. Definitely try there again with crispy chicken. Overall, in this part of the city a really inexpensive alternative to eat Chinese or Vietnamese, at the same time the bistro room serves as a meeting place e.g. for residents of the nearby home for the blind, thus also fulfills an important social task. You have to look for a parking space along Kirchröder Straße - if you stay a little away from the junction with Brabeckstraße you will also find a parking space there.

One of my favorite restaurants! The owners are super nice and always in a good mood. The food is amazingly good and cheap, and I'm happy with the performance every time.

Delicious Thai curry- good value for money

Been there for the first time and tried the savings menu G1. It was positive that the food came quickly and there was enough seating available. However (for our taste) way too much sauce on the plate, which completely soaked the chicken meat and was therefore no longer crispy. Even with the noodles, it did not meet the expectations of fried noodles in terms of appearance or taste.

Food used to be of a much better quality. I will test it again and then adjust the rating.

I visited this place years ago and the food was ok to very good. Among other things, Nasi Goreng tasted very good to me. Unfortunately there was an unpleasant surprise about 3 years ago, which is why I never go there again. One day there was a middle aged father with a 3 to 4 year old girl who wanted to eat out there. The girl made a bit of theater out of nowhere because she wanted an ice cream straight away. Of course the father didn't buy her ice cream because a child also has to learn to wait a little. The child calmed down after less than 1 minute. You then ate normally outside. When they left, the Asian woman working there claimed to me that the man was a weak parent when something like this happened. (We knew each other and she also told me about herself earlier). Now the crux of the matter is why I will never enter this restaurant again, at least as long as this person works there. Incidentally, that was this slim, relatively young person, Frau des Bosses. I can no longer look her in the face. I am writing what she said here because she announced it loudly at the time (all customers heard it) and with a grin on her face. She told me that her son was 4 at the time and said a swear word to her starting with A ... (whatever that was). She warned him not to do that. Of course he did it anyway. Then she locked him in the dark bathroom from the outside. He cried and became very scared. By the way, the son was studying at the time. The woman did not see her mistake, laughs at it and announces it according to the whole clientele! I then said that I'm going now and will never enter this house again. Apparently she didn't take it seriously and continued to laugh!

Food was there very quickly, but unfortunately not warm. So we enjoyed our cold food. In terms of price / performance ratio, it was okay. Unfortunately, you could not change the sauce in the menu, a shame. Service was polite despite everything.

The food was hardly ordered, it was already on the table. The service is friendly. If it should go quickly, definitely recommended.

I love the peanut sauce so much! Crunchy here is really crispy, you never have to wait long, waitresses are nice and funny, the price is great, nice selection ... Just a pity that they have no EC device there, so I would probably more often there.

Fast and cheap. Food is ok. No hit but ok for the price. Ambience is also a fast cheap kitchen. Otherwise clean and staff also nice.
